I along with my wife watch KBC all the 3 days in a week. It is a sublime programme. We are so happy that many persons economically have been befitted. But on 6 January 2013′s KBC has disturbed me and my wife. Being Bengali brahmin (only by birth), we do not have any prejudice that some one due to birth is great or some one inferior. We are shocked to know the issue from Shri Chauhan-ji as they are treated indifferently because of caste. I would like to mention that Hindus are devotee of Sri Ram and Sri Krishna but they were not brahmins, even Swami Vivekananda for whom India is known to the world was not brahmin. The great poet Valmiki was not brahmin but his scholarly knowledge was far better than brahmin. And no brahmin can come near to Swami Vivekananda if his spiritual and knowledge are taken into account. I request to the people of India in general and Raigarh in particular (from where Shri Chauhan-ji hails) please shun such feelings as discriminating in the name of caste is against humanity. Please remember friends “Aadmi Karam se Bora hota Dharam se nehi” . When I was in some foreign countries many foreigners told me against the caste system. We are Indians first, our country is great , second to none in the world. “Mera Bharat Mahan” as our ‘Dil is Hindusthani’ .
